Blessing the Sacrament....

Things are really coming together here in this little part of Lima. Our zone is really working great this month and I’m sure that momentum will carry over to next month as well. Our little branch completed one month of existence yesterday. The members might be few but they sure bring a strong spirit with them every Sunday. Something that I forgot to mention is that Elder Cruz and I are fortunate enough to be blessing and preparing the Sacrament again. I have forgotten just how neat it is to have a role in the Sacrament. It’s like a giant flashback of the first time I was able to bless it. I still remember it, I was still gimping around with my crutches due to my foot surgery and in order to stand up and get close to the table I had to hop. I had to stand on one leg and I remember that I kept hitting my gimp leg on the little stool that was there and it took everything I had to not yell due to the pain. Blessing and preparing the sacrament was probably something I took for granted at the time but now I’m thankful that I was able to have the opportunity.
