A Goal Becomes Reality!

Monday night last week I was packing some things and trying to get organized when our phone rang. Elder Sanchez answered and it was President Del Aguila (The District President in Tarapoto). They talked for a few minutes and then Elder Sanchez simply put down the phone and looked me in the eyes and asked me ¨Do you know what President just asked me, TARAPOTO GOT APROVED TO BECOME A STAKE!!!¨ A few General Authorities will be visiting Tarapoto in about three weeks to begin the process of converting into a stake. What a neat way to leave Tarapoto. The leaders and the members have worked so hard to finally make their goal a reality and soon they will be receiving the blessings of a Stake.
