I sent President and Sister Crayk a thank you note when they got home and expressed our appreciation for helping Landon get off to a good start at the CCM. What wonderful people! This is his response:
Dear Brother and Sister Schofield:
Thank you so much for the photos and the
kind words that you expressed to Sister Crayk and I. I want you to know what a
pleasure it was to have your son, Elder Schofield, with us in the MTC, in fact the transition to normal life has been quite a challenge for me because I don't have the day to day association with great young men like your son. Sister Crayk however is enjoying life hanging out with our children and 8 grand children and we both are enjoying being back with our family. Once again thank you for sharing your son with the Lord and the great people of Peru. Send him our love
and we will keep him in our daily prayers.
